Dimitrios Amaxilatis, CTO of Spark Works, and Nikiforos Botis, Senior Solutions Architect at AWS, will guide attendees through the architecture of the groundbreaking initiative of Digital School by the Ministry of Education, Research and Religious Affairs. The Digital School, launched on September 17, 2024, enables thousands of students aged 12-18 to attend daily classes, available through Live Streaming and Video On Demand. The Digital School aims to overcome economic inequalities by offering free educational support to all students, regardless of location. This initiative allows students across Greece to attend live afternoon sessions from home, ensuring access to essential preparatory lessons for national exams. This platform broadens educational access, supporting equitable learning opportunities for all.
In this session, Dimitrios will reveal the AWS-based architecture that powers the platform, including AWS Elemental. He’ll also demonstrate how AI and GenAI technologies like Amazon Bedrock are used to enhance accessibility.
